I am a licensed psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist with ten years of experience working with children, adolescents and young adults. I earned a Doctorate in School Psychology from USF with specializations in Mental Health and Culturally Responsive Care. I am bilingual in English and Spanish.  

I offer Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), social skills training, Parent Management Training, Behavior Therapy, and support with conflict resolution. I have extensive experience  providing mental health support for individuals with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, depression, self-harm, and trauma.  I have experience working with youth of all ages and also coaching parents on effective discipline for children with challenging behaviors. I have helped numerous teens and families to build effective communication habits and overcome patterns of conflict, gridlock, or codependence. I am dedicated to helping my clients to accept themselves and their loved ones for who they are while striving to unlock their potential and achieve their goals. I co-sponsored my school’s Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) for several years and have ample experience assisting LGBTQ+ adolescents who struggle with their identity or face bullying or rejection. I also offer social skills and communication training through table-top gaming and roleplaying.

I have co-authored peer-reviewed presentations on resilience, mental health, and the psychological benefits of behavior interventions. I live in Tampa with my wife and talking parrot. I am a musician who enjoys recording songs with my brother about timely cool topics such as the power of friendship and the joy of living in the moment. I am also a gamer, anime fan, and practitioner of several martial arts and I frequently train with my wife to be the best person I can be.
