Casie Peet, PhD

Pronouns: she/her/hers

I am a licensed psychologist and certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT) with a Doctorate in School Psychology from the University of South Florida.

My expertise is in working with young children and their families to address challenging behavior. I have experience treating clients with a variety of diagnostic profiles including autism spectrum disorder, attention disorders, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression and/or behavioral disorders. I use a variety of evidence-based strategies including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), behavior management training, and cognitive behavioral therapy and I individualize my approach with families based on their unique set of needs, values, and beliefs.

I have experience working with children in private practice, schools, hospitals, outpatient settings, and residential facilities. Currently, I split my time between private practice and public schools in the Tampa Bay area. I love helping families restore and strengthen a positive relationship with their child while establishing boundaries and finding strategies that support a cohesive family and healthy development.

I am a member of the National and Florida Associations of School Psychologists and the American Psychological Association. I have also served as a manuscript reviewer for multiple academic journals and as a mental health consultant for school districts across the state of Florida.

When I'm not working I enjoy baking, kayaking, and traveling back to my home state of Colorado to spend time with family and in the mountains.
