Pronouns: she/her/hers
I am a Licensed Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I earned a Bachelors from the University of Tampa, as well as a Doctoral Degree in School Psychology with a specialization in School-Based Mental Health from the University of South Florida.
I have spent over seven years working with children, adolescents, and their families providing evidence-based assessment and mental health services. I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of mental health challenges and abilities, including anxiety, depression, executive functioning and attention deficits, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, challenging behaviors, and giftedness.
I have also worked extensively with high-ability students (including gifted students and those enrolled in AP and IB courses), teaching effective coping skills and strategies to build meaningful connections to teachers and peers at school. These skills help to promote psychological well-being, positive emotions, and academic success among students experiencing high levels of academic demands and stress.
I am a member of the National and Florida Association of School Psychologists, and serve on the committee of the Live for 24 Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Tampa, Florida.
