Marissa Kessler, EdS

Pronouns: she/her/hers

I am a Florida Licensed and Nationally Certified School Psychologist working in public schools and private practice in the Tampa Bay area. I earned a Bachelors in Psychology as well as a Masters and Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Florida State University.

I have been working with children, adolescents, and young adults for over a decade. I utilize a client-focused model tailoring treatment to each client’s needs and have experience with cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, behavior modification, positive psychology, and motivational interviewing.

My areas of interest and experience include working with children, teens, and families with diverse backgrounds, abilities, and mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, social skills deficits, executive functioning, behavior difficulties, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and giftedness. My goal in working with youth and adults is to help individuals build a toolbox of strategies and skills combined with their own individual strengths that allow them to thrive.

I live in Clearwater with my husband. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being crafty, playing board games, and practicing and performing improv.
